I ordered Ghost (amongst others) and it is divine. I will be ordering more very soon.

I am going to try some of the new oils which Amir has in stock. I like Perfume Parlour's Deep Red so I thought I would give the Boss Orange a try. They are so inexpensive it does not really matter if I don't like a certain oil.

Mostly, I have been very satisfied with all my purchases over the last couple of years.

I got Boss Orange from PP this week and its lovely. Had compliments about it already:D
I also got Miss Dior Cherie (fabulous) and Samsara (ghastly). I was really disappointed as Samsara is one of my all time faves but this was awful:(
  • excellent thread. sad I only noticed it now. Just ordered 3 x 8 ml including Vera wang for my wedding!!! now wonder if they do a complimentary body lotion to lock in the scent on the day as I dont fancy shelling out for the full price!

I ordered the Coco Chanel Type Perfume spray on Sunday and received it on today (Tuesday). Amazing perfume! Paid £8 in total with p&p for an EDT that smells and lasts more like an EDP. Really chuffed! Only thing I'd appreciate is a tiny funnel to pour the perfume into the bottle, annoyingly they have run out.

Can anyone recommend a nice vanillary scent from the collection? I'm thinking of trying Pink Sugar or Hypnotic Poison... any positive reviews for these?

Has anyone tried this: Ma Ma Mia - 50ml Spray Perfume for women ? I'm tempted to buy it.

I too am interested in opinions on the Ma Ma Myia one, it sounds wonderful! It looks like we have very similar tastes!

I am also a fan of vanilla scents, and my absolute favourite perfume is actually Hypnotic Poison. I have used the Perfume Parlour equivalent, and it is very very good. Not exactly the same, but if it's vanilla you're after, it will fit the bill! Very creamy/powdery voluptuous scent (I'm not very good at describing odours...lol).

I just ordered Deep Red, Shalimar (never used those before) and yes..Hypnotic Poison again (3rd time!), so I shall be reporting on the first two when I get them! I only went on the basenotes.net reviews for them.

I didn't order Ma Ma Mya as it was a bit more expensive, so I would really appreciate a review from someone who has used it! :p

Shalimar is becoming my perfume parlour addiction :D My bottles of it just don't seem to last. I've always loved it and my mum wears it (real thing) but its really dear for the normal stuff.

Its really warm and spicy, i also bought Joy by Jean Patou style, now i have never smelt this in real life but smells good from PP similar vein to Shalimar and again a classic scent....which apparently are all coming back into fashion according to an article in the mail....sales have soared. Not sure i agree with all the list but everyones tastes are different.

Old faves like Poison, Anais Anais, Chanel No 5 etc all coming back....never went away for some of us ;)

I have tried the EDP sprays. I used the 3 for £20 offer. Very impressive. The packaging is attractive and the fragrance very long lasting. I stuck with scents I have had in the past in the oils so I was confident that I would like the smells.

I think I am converted to the sprays. It just feels so nice to have a good spritz on your neck and then it means you can enjoy the smell too.

When I use the oils, I generally only put it on to my wrists and then rub my arms together.
