Cheap Smell-alikes - Cheaper alternatives to Expensive Perfumes

I've got CK1, Angel, Kenzo Flower, Eternity, Pure Poison, 212 Sexy, all of which are spot on, and Coco Mademoiselle and Burberry London which are not quite there but still really nice and I do wear them.

I've also got a couple of the non designer ones, Grapefruit, and Orange Ginger Awake which aren't very strong but would work well in burners for room fragrance I think.

Yeah, I've be looking at the non-designer oils which sound amazing. I'm going to wait until my first 6 arrive before I try those though.

I've got plans to add them to my plain smelling body lotions to spice them up a little e.g. 'Simple' lotions have a medicated smell I think could do with a boost.

I'm supposed to be doing the No Toiletries challenge but I have a feeling that I will order some more before too long.

If you haven't already, have a read right thru this thread. Many people have said which oils they have and how they compare to the real thing. I ordered Secret Obsession but hated it, but for the sake of £2 I wasn't too worried.

Yeah I've had a scan, not many people with my orders...only you have one.

To be honest, I don't really care if they don't smell EXACTLY the same as the originals...all I'm concerned with is the fact that they're cheap! and If they smell 50% like the real thing then BONUS! :rotfl: GOOD LUCK with your challenge.

My perfumes arrived not too long ago!

People...let me tell you this. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT I'M BUYING A FULL-PRICED BOTTLE OF PERFUME AGAIN.

I'm soooooooo happy with all of these scents. They smell 99% alike and MAN ARE THEY STRONG, you don't need much at all!

Hi Peeps, just thought i would update you on my recent purchase from perfume parlour...i ordered 2 x sets of 3 (6)

I chose

L'INSTANT DE GUERLAIN
EUPHORIA
FLOWERBOMB

I bought the Euphoria as its my all time fave, this smell-a-like is almost there but not quite.

I luuurve the Flowerbomb, never smelt it before but went off the reviews on here and im well impressed.:D:D:D

Ange ou Demon and L'Instant de Guerlain were ones i'd sniffed in Boots when they first came out and thought they were nice, but never bought. The smell-a-like are similar, they were a bit off-putting at first but settled down nicely when they had been on skin a few mins
212 Sexy is again another one i'd never smelt before and thats quite nice too,,,, not as nice as Flowerbomb.

The copy I got of Angel is vile however:(. It smells like some grannys perfume thats been sat on a dressing table for 5yrs...i gave it chance to settle but still after a good hour it still smelt rank.

Word of warning these smells are really strong and even after a shower i could still smell them..i did go OTT testing them all ..lol!

Hope this is of some help if anyone was thinking of ordering

I ordered the Coco Chanel Type Perfume spray on Sunday and received it on today (Tuesday). Amazing perfume! Paid £8 in total with p&p for an EDT that smells and lasts more like an EDP. Really chuffed! Only thing I'd appreciate is a tiny funnel to pour the perfume into the bottle, annoyingly they have run out.

Can anyone recommend a nice vanillary scent from the collection? I'm thinking of trying Pink Sugar or Hypnotic Poison... any positive reviews for these?

Has anyone tried this: Ma Ma Mia - 50ml Spray Perfume for women ? I'm tempted to buy it.

I've got Angel too and was really worried as it was horrible to start with but I found that after about an hour it was fine. Like u I went a bit OTT with it but now I apply just a little bit and its perfect. I do find Angel quite strong anyway.

I ordered Ghost (amongst others) and it is divine. I will be ordering more very soon.

I am going to try some of the new oils which Amir has in stock. I like Perfume Parlour's Deep Red so I thought I would give the Boss Orange a try. They are so inexpensive it does not really matter if I don't like a certain oil.

Mostly, I have been very satisfied with all my purchases over the last couple of years.
