You could try looking at the offers at e2save for the 3 network, especially with the 6630/6680 pay £30 ish a month and claim the cashback, i was with vodafone and orange and cancelled both and took a 3 contract and i have been pleasantly surprised and impressedE2save 6630 deals
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • thank you...i will try that...but i am soooo used to qwerty keyboards. both the phones i have right now are qwerty keyboards...Nokia 5500 (oldish) and nokia 6820 (newish)...would anyone know about a good deal on any qwerty keyboard fones (not Nokia 9300 / 9500, they cost a furtune)

    thank you
  • If you're only paying 14.95 a month - have you looked at PAYG? There are some interesting deals at the moment including O2 Talkalot, voda 'mates rates', Orange etc etc, personally for that money (don't know your usage but it doesn't sound alot), I'd go with O2.

    hope that helps,
  • can you pls tell me whats PAYG ? is it pay as you go..? can you pls send me a link or any more details...i would like to check it out. my main usage is that i connect to the internet (0845) number, off peak, which we all know cannot be free.
  • Yup, PAYG is pay as you go. If you're connecting to the internet off peak I see you're using 0845, which is a WAP number. Why not then use GPRS, and use O2 PAYG which gives you a mg free. You'd get that if you topped up by ten pounds a month - save yourself five.
  • how about the deal on motorola A1000 ? has anyone used it ? am unable to find the full specs.... the offer is 750 anytime mins on 3 (e2save.co.uk) for £20 / month..i mean it works out that much...

Getting a symbain phone (eg a100, sony ericson p800/p900/p910 and getting it unlocked would be a good idea as there is a way to get free gprs access from o2 (pm me) There were some good deals around on refurb p800s recently with no contract. If you buy on contract but don't need all the minutes it might be worth buying from onestopphoeshop (like e2save, a part of the car phone warehouse) as they allow tariff downgrades after 6 months wheras e2save insist on the same tariff for 12 or cashback is invalidated.
    I think....
  • mini catch on E2save as michaels mentioned above.

also, if you have decided to buy from them then you know there are cashback sites gives you £10 on a contract or you can get a referal and share the £30 bonus.

pm me if you need the site name or referal (i try not to post publicly due to it may breach the board guide)
  • cheers michaels & fisheddie...

well both your words are right. why go for e2save when onestopphoneshop offers downgrades in 6 months (which MAYBE important in my case...hehe) ....+ share the whatever referal ...true...pm's on their way....
  • i just checked the deal on www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk (Motorola A1000 + bluetooth headset, on 3 network, talk & text 900 , 12 months) , but i cant quite understand what is monthly discount, what will be redeemable etc

and moreover does this website offer tariff downgrades ?

    pls advise...thank you
