yup, any, every, and all versions of 2.0 have been shown to be downgradeable.Matched Betting and Casino Bagging Target: £3500 (Masters degree course fees)

Checked my online credit card statement today and Kays have taken the £143.99! Rather confusingly, it states that the transaction occured on 01/09/05, the date I placed my order, which I know isn't the case (already had a statement for that period) and I'm 99% certain the money's only been taken within the past week. I have heard something about companies being able to "reserve" an amount on a person's credit card before actually taking it, I guess that must be the reason for it..
Anyway wasn't holding out much hope of seeing my PSP anytime soon (mine also was due to be delivered by the 5th - TOMORROW!) but this has given me a touch more hope I'll see it sooner rather than later..
Will be checking with my credit card company tomorrow as to when the money was infact taken.
Anyone else had the money taken from their card?"I am not Geoff Vadar, I'm Darth Vadar"0 -

I wouldn't be too sure about this. Nearly all versions have been downgradeable, but some people have had problems doing it. Apparently PSP version 1007K has problems downgrading.Maybe you're the same as me, we see things they'll never see...0 -
The money came off my credit card today too, but the transaction date is listed as 3rd september, not sure how that works! Hopefully that means they're being sent out now!Addicted to moneysaving! :rotfl:0

Ok how are you all managing to get it from Kays for £143?? Its sitting at £230 on their website at the moment with the 20% of that would only bring it down to £184. Help?? Or is there anywhere else offering a decent price just now? (not ebay or Asia)0

See the PSP here.
Note though that they reduced the discount for new customers to just 10% a few weeks back, and they still quote a 4 week wait for the PSP.."I am not Geoff Vadar, I'm Darth Vadar"0 -

Interesting that....but I suspect it is probably more down to idiots not doing it properly. I had no problems with mine, which I think from that barcode thing, is a 1003.0 -

I stand corrected in my orthopaedic shoes...
This is the first downgrader problem I've heard of that wasn't caused by user error.Matched Betting and Casino Bagging Target: £3500 (Masters degree course fees)

Just rang Kays, to be told "Oh yes it's on it's way to you, should be there by the 18th". You what?!"I am not Geoff Vadar, I'm Darth Vadar"0

hi all,
just to update. I got my psp through from yesasia today. very happy with it, no dead pixels etc and they included a 3 pin plug adapter for free
The cost was £160 on my credit card, so the exchange rate must have changed. Still pretty happy with it. i'd probably rather pay the extra £20 and have the UK model, but it's too late now and at least I've got it in my sweaty little hands. I just have to resist it until I finish uni...0
