Hi All,

I am changing over Broadband from AOL to Sky, I have got to give my mac code to sky then the changeover will happen, however I do comps on here and have used my aol email so I wont be able to have access to this once I have changed over, OR is there anyway of doing this?

If you currently have an alternative email account that is not at AOL, you can forward each of the emails in your AOL email account that you wish to keep to that other account before you change over to Sky.

If you don't currently have an alternative email account, set up an email address at Hotmail or Gmail which is independent of any particular ISP and forward your AOL emails there.

Don't forget to change you email address at each comp website to your new address well before you close the AOL account.

After u switch over to sky, u will not be able to use AOL 9.0 software to check email and browse, but u can access your email account at aol's website www.aol.co.uk. Previously, AOL email accounts only available for AOL net users. but from last year AOL email is free for everybody.

I switched from AOL to Be 6 months ago, but still using my aol account from AOL's site, though that's not my main email account.

But, i think from now on u should use free email service like hotmail, yahoo as your main email account.

Can you downgrade to PAYG (Dialup) account?

The Email woud be retained then.

As amizaki says you will still be able to access your emails at the AOL website using Internet Explorer, or you could also access your AOL emails via Outlook or Outlook Express, you no longer have to be a AOL subscriber to use AOL email.
