Ideas on how to makeup 4 the cashback losses!!

Cashback - I have lost - so far!!

2 x £420 £840
MCOL - £35
1x £72
MCOL - £35

Total so far £1002!!

I used this (stupidly )as a way of saving towards xmas!!(pay now and save my cashback cheques!!) This didnt happen so had a short fall!!

My aim is to make up these losses and I would like to start a thread like the diets threads and comp threa £2008 4 2008 etc!!

Lets aim to recover our losses by making money we may have thrown away b4. I throw away lots but not now, I am going to sell more on ebay!!

I will not waste either!! I have been known to buy bargains!! No use if you dont use them!!

Not anymore!!

I plan to do this in 3 months!!

Anyone else with me??


Lets have lots of ideas like Bingo, free bets and Quidco etc!! Anyway to make extra money to soften the blow!!

No problem. I'm still getting lots of cashback deals and doing very nicely thank you. My minor losses on two contracts have more than been offset by the dozens I've had totally free. of course, I DID follow the groundrules and knew exactly what I was (am) doing. I never understand how people can lose so much so easily by taking no care and no research into what they are doing when offered something (substantial at that!) for nothing!!

This is not a thread for your help!! This is a thread trying to enthuse people into making up for their losses and putting them behind them!!

Even YOU admit to losing out!!!! So for god sake stop being so hard on those others who also made a loss!!

Doesn't sound like it from your E2Save post. Panic and blindness. As long as you're happy! I will continue to advice those who want and can use help as opposed to those who don't and can't.

I follow the rules to the book. I always read the small print its part of my job!!

You are very impatient! But dont take it out on me!! Keep your opinions to yourself unless you think they may be helpful in anyway. The above wasnt!! Just usual abuse towards people who like you took out mobile contracts - some of us made a bigger loss!! Mine was unfortunate as I took out 2 at the same time.

If you are so great how come you mad a loss?

I am happy for you to keep your comments to other posts not mine!!

With regards to panic it is true I do worry about my cash back offers especially when they appear to be following a similar path to other companies - quite wise I think!!! Panic though - no - concern -yes!!

sounds like you're already making up for your losses from tour signature!

I could have been unfortunate too; putting two deals with a very high risk (and quite possibly one of the worst dealers) and thinking that by following the t&c I'd get paid. Guess I must have been lucky in consciously limiting my exposure to one higher-risk dealer and only after I'd had many sussessful deals with safer organisations. Of course, it's all the dealers' fault; we have no responsibilty to actually choose wisely - just to run around like headless chickens when the dealer (never us) gets it wrong. Hopefully the others who actually attempt to read this thread will see that it's all down to luck and wont bother to do their research first or care which dealer or deal they go for.

You could always take out a few more cashback deals and sell the handsets on ebay.:D
