Transfer to A&L ISA questions

I'm transfering my previous years ISAs to A&L. On the transfer form it says 'My evidence of investment/passbook is enclosed' To be honest I don't really want to be sending them my statements. Do I really need to send anything?
also it asks me to write the amount to transfer. Well its every penny and on one or two of the ISAs I haven't had a statement through yet so I'm not sure of the totals. Not sure what to write in the £ box! Full amount?
anyone transfered to them, if so was it painful??
thanks

I'm in the process of transferring to A&L. No mention of statements etc - you just enter provider and amount. And if it's to transfer the entire amount there's a separate box where you don't have to enter the precise amount for the very reason that you won't know it, as your existing provider will top up the account with interest calculated on a daily basis.
So I'm wondering what form have you got there and why is it different from the one they send or you download (after opening the ISA without depositing money in it).
Is it A&L's form? - that's what you need. However hard up you are, never accept loans from your friends. Just gifts0 -
I transferred several past years' ISA funds to them in February but in branch, rather than online, so had my paperwork with me & can't help with that query.
'Full amount' or 'All' will be fine - if you specify an amount it will have changed, in any case, due to the addition of interest added between the time when you submit the form and the time when they receive the funds.0 -

I have 2 different ones. One was from the website which I downloaded and the other they sent to me with all the welcoming bumf. The downloaded ones dont have an option for 'All of my cash ISA' to transfer, they just ask for an amount.
both forms state 'my evidence of investment is enclosed'.£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
I have recently sent transfer info to A&L having opened this year's ISA online.
I was worried about sending passbooks etc so I rang the helpline. I was told not to send the passbooks, but to send proof of ISA - eg last year's statement etc. So that is what I have done- hope it works!
I downloaded transfer forms from the web but they were different from the one they sent - which was much simpler and had a box to tick to 'transfer all' so I photocopied this for my other transfers. I had also downloaded an application to open the ISA but wasn't asked for that so I haven't sent it!
I sent them all recorded delivery with my fingers crossed! We shall see....0 -

Transferring may be a slow process.
A&L told me yesterday they're currently working on applications received on the 7th April.0
