Insuring DS on our car?

What about the norwich union scheme where they fit a box to your car, for pay as you go?0

Also depending on the value of the car, how you drive, security, and how much of a risk taker you are, TPO insurance could be a lot cheaper (assuming you haven't tried it already)0

Interestingly in my case, for my insurer, TPFT was cheaper than TPO - so do check both and don't assume one will be cheaper. No point paying more for less cover0 -
There is an excelent article on the main pages about using insurance comparison sites to obtain the best insurance(not the jobpicker stuff). This is how we found quinns. My son is 17 and still a learner and in an old corsa quote came back at just short of £1000 this is tpft.

I looked into this but the terms were for older drivers If I remember rightly- an excellent scheme for non-frequent drivers.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

elephant.co.uk plus a few other insurances have 10 month NCB accelerator policy's, its a good way to build up your sons NCB, however remember not all insurance policys will recognise 10 months as being one year NCB but defo worth getting a quote from them.0

Our son was just 17 when he passed and we got a good deal from the Post Office. Was even better than Quinn, who were the next. We ticked the legal cover - glad as he had an accident on his first trip out!! only down side is that we have been put with Norwich - who have a non-UK call centre which has caused a lot of communication problems over the claim.
