Just spotted a new PAYG offer on the T-Mobile website - Top up & Stretch. If you top up £10 Monday to Friday, then you get £10 free credit at the weekend. Text Stretch to 441 to register:

http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/uk/stretch/

This offer is not compatible with the existing Top Up Friday promotion where you top up £10 on Friday to get unlimited texts at the weekend. Text Friday to 441 to register:

http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/uk/topupfriday/?WT.mc_id=topupfriday

However, you can switch between the two offers by texting the appropriate keyword to 441 as above. Also, remember to top up online as you get £2 free credit after the first 3 times you have topped up by £10 or more:

http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/uk/free-top-up/?WT.mc_id=freetopup

Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:

If you're on a T-mobile PAYG tariff, sign up to Top Up and Stretch by texting the word "Stretch" to 441 (the text's free), then top up your phone with at least £10 between Monday and Friday, either all in one go or with smaller top-ups eg two of £5 each, and you'll receive £10 free credit to use on calls, texts or picture messages to UK landlines and mobiles the following weekend.

If you've already registered for Top Up Friday you'll automatically be switched over to Stretch but you can switch backwards and forwards between the two whenever you like.

Many thanks to MoneySaver Moohead for the spot!

Just to let you know it doesn't roll over - the T&Cs say:

"Providing you remain a member of Top Up & Stretch, we'll add your promotional credit to your account at one minute in the morning that Saturday. You have until midnight that Sunday to use it, or you lose it. During that weekend your promotional credit will be used first, then any GET MORE bonus credit you may have, and then your regular top-up credit. We'll send you a text once you have used up your promotional credit."

    Darn!
I thought at first you'd get the free £10 to use over a reasonable time, not just a single weekend :undecided.

I use my basic Nokia 2310 (no camera, no internet access..... FAR too expensive! _pale_) only when necessary, and then only to text, as I'm not one to chat aimlessly on the phone, so these offers are useless to me .

    Oh well........
