What a wonderful window too. I love the shape and the light it lets in.

    thanks :)

The photo is stragegically taken so as not to reveal the true horror of our french doors. Four of the panes need replacing, Mr Phirefly wrenched the handle off in a fit of peak when the lock seized, and the whole lot needs sanding and repainting. Shut the curtains though and you'd never know ;)

Its fab, Im quite jealous, I live in a new build box with really tiny windows.

love the room, I recently did mine and it cost £50, but its no where near as nice as yours. Yours is classy and mine looks tacky/naff in comparison.

Thanks, but don't be too jealous though, beautiful and classy it may be, but it will always be a newbuild box too! And its my first 'proper' bedroom since I left home 10 years ago, Mr. P and I have been sharing a tiny Ikea cupboard with the drawer fronts falling off for the last 5 years! I've been saving like mad for this :)

Must be a lovely light room with the French doors. I guess it's downstairs? Or do the French doors lead out to one of those Romeo and Juliet balconies?????

Thanks for all the interesting contact sites too Phirefly.

    Enjoy your wonderful room.

Its on the 1st floor, theres a proper balcony which acts as a flat roof over the back doors, quite unusual for a 2 storey house. The balcony is in the vein of the doors though, desparate for some TLC!

Heheh no, that was Mr Phirefly's contribution. He'd never done it before and isn't particularly diy-inclined, so we got my Mum over to tutor him. It then proceeded to take him the best part of a day to hang just 6 strips. Perfectionism doesn't even cover it....

Could you cover the Ikea wood tables with small sticky mirror tile on a roll?

I love the idea of covering furniture in mirror tile - any idea of where to get this? As cheap as poss, obviously!

    Thanks
