When you know yourself that you are ill,and you know deep down you cannot work, or work would cause you harm and thenyou have to go into a room and try and prove the fact to a stanger and in a limited amount of time and also knowing if you make a mistake or you omit some inportant detail that it would have great consequence... is just one of the most stressful things you can do.
Most fit people have not got a clue what people go through, WHEN you think of it!...the people who do swing the lead just have nothing to worry about!
Having to go one of these medicals must be like going to court and being accused of doing something you have not done.the same amount of stress anyway.
