write down what the problems are before you go in
it's so easy to leave something out
have you ever gone doctors and they say describe you're symptoms and after leaving you remember you forgot to say XXXX or whatever

I feel guilty when i tell doc stuff even though I'm telling the truth! but that's my problem....

Hoping to be fit for work myself in three weeks time!!!!!! it's draining dealing with the social

Excellent advice UR, it is easy to forget things in the heat of the moment.

Good luck with getting back to work x
    Gone ... or have I?

Thats is your opinion (for what its worth:rolleyes:)
I have filled in the forms and been advised by not just benefit advisors but the CAB.

The CAB are benefit advisers and they should not tell people to lie, but you would do that anyway so no problem there.

Please do not make personal comments about me. What I have said is true and was advised by the CAB. Keep your insults away from the forum or I will report you.

Well that is very poor advice by the CAB especially if there are few bad days. I have not insulted you, just stated the truth. I cant imagine reporting me would hold much weight after all the trouble you have caused and the fact you are not allowed to post as Weymuffred due to your disgraceful behaviour.
  • Please Fred, in whatever guise you are, can you give it a rest, it is getting wearisome and spoils the thread for the OP.

And can others stop rising to his bait and then he'll have nothing to respond to.

    Thanks.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Once and for all have the balls to list all the "disgraceful behaviour" and "trouble I have caused" prove it with evidence not just from your pals!!.
The reason I cant post under weymuffred is because you and your pals seem to run the board and can get away with things that others cant.
And you are indeed making personal comments but you aint got the balls to apologise.

I have listed your disgraceful behaviour and the trouble you have caused only recently and I am not going to do it again. I expect it is well documented by me and others despite many of your posts and threads being deleted or removed. The evidence has been provided by numerous people. The reason you cannot post under Weymuffred is because of you disgraceful behaviour and troublemaking. I am surprised you have not been banned altogether. You have never had the balls to apologise for all the terrible things you have said so you have no right to ask for apologies from anyone. In anycase I have nothing to apologise for. Please if you must post post something to do with the thread that is helpful as you recently claimed you have often done, though I have seen no evidence of it.

You arrogant jumped up little nobody. When asked to prove something you waffle on or just ignore and cant prove anything. Oh I posted helpful info on this very thread, post number 10.

See there you go again making incorrect insulting comments, if you have such a low opinion of me, I suggest you stop replying. I stand by my previous post, I am not repeating myself by detailing your disgraceful behaviour again. Post 10 was not helpful as the advice was incorrect, have a look at what other people have said.
  • I have mentioned others.

I am NOT going to be drawn into this stupid bickering.

I apologise to the OP for the direction this thread has taken.

Op,Just to confirm the best advice is to write things down on how your husband manages day to day and what he can and cannot do. Dont fib on the forms it is not worth it and will always catch people out in the end.

BTW I am not suggesting for one moment that you would fib on the forms.

As for being sent for a medical so soon after being in receipt of IB this happens and happened to me after I had IB for only 3 months. Its just procedure and routine. Albeit very stressful. It might be helpful if you accomapanied your Husband to the medical for some moral support and also to help fill in any blanks.

Try not to worry I am sure your Hubbys medical will be fine and I hope he starts to improve health wise very soon.

My husband has been ill since sept and previous to that has worked all his life, he has now been asked to attend a medical and we are worried that he will/may be taken off benefit. he has good days and bad days, any suggestions as to medical, he isnt fit to work in my opinion, but the new criteria seems to be, fit for some type of work, the stress is affecting, all suggestions welcome.

    thanks

    Hi lancsgirl

Not advice as such but my OH is similar. His good days are when he doesnt do anythin, his bad are when he does and the more he does the worse he gets.

Its so hard with IB and DLA when you dont fit the black & white criteria.

He saw the *indipendant* GP on a *good day* ~ said GP lied (well, we assume so as we are STILL waiting to receive a copy of his report  ) and OH's IB was stopped.

We have finally had this passed for a tribunal hearing.

I suppose what I am trying to say is be as honest and *indepth* as you can, if you lose fight, fight and fight some more.

Also, if you want to rant PM me anytime.

When you know yourself that you are ill,and you know deep down you cannot work, or work would cause you harm and thenyou have to go into a room and try and prove the fact to a stanger and in a limited amount of time and also knowing if you make a mistake or you omit some inportant detail that it would have great consequence... is just one of the most stressful things you can do.
Most fit people have not got a clue what people go through, WHEN you think of it!...the people who do swing the lead just have nothing to worry about!
Having to go one of these medicals must be like going to court and being accused of doing something you have not done.the same amount of stress anyway.
