I just tried it and it worked. Knew it would just by looking at it
The only prob I had that the copy and paste copied
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com...splay.html?f=29
instead of the full url:http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=29
because of the way vbulletin displays long links0 -
Why not just use Firefox. Open as many tabs as you want showing whatever pages you want and go to Tools/Options and in the General tab under Home Page click on Use Current Pages. The Firefox shortcut then always opens these pages.
One shortcut, x number of web pages.
Or have I missed something in the OP?
I have 4 MSE pages that open when I open Firefox.0 -

Yes, but he then posted this underneath as though he didn't get the gist of your post.--Tony-- wrote:I dont mind lots of IE windows open so tabbed browsing is not important to me, its just there are 5 web sites I go to every day and it would be nice to hit one shortcut on the desktop to open all 5 rather than having to open IE then go to fav's and settect each site one at a time.
At the moment I have the five shortcuts saved to my desktop but I hate a cluttered desktop.0 -
I'm using Firefox and one of the options is the ability to open all the bookmarks in a folder in one go.
So in my Bookmarks Toolbar I have a folder called "news" that has several different news websites in it. To open all of those websites all I have to do is right click on the folder called news and select the "open in tabs" options.
Voila all the websites open and no messy code needed and I can have different sets of websites open depending on my needs at the time0 -

You can also just middle-click a folder (using your scroll wheel like a button) and that opens up everything in that folder.0
