They also come in through the drains ( read it on the net somewhere) friend kept finding them in dishwasher - they were coming in from outside. She put loads of salt in dishwasher and that done the trick....

I would recommend putting down salt too. Have you ever seen what happens to a slug once covered in salt?? Its disgusting!!!!
