BT Broadband Contract

I am overall unhappy with the performance of the BT Broadband service will i currently receive.
I have 2 PC's connected wirelessly and a xbox 360 connected through ethernet, most times i wanna play xbox i have to reset the router, speeds in the evening reach no higher than 50kb/s and i am on 8mb. i wish to get out of my contract without buying my way out, any help on how i could do this.

Have you rang the faults team to try & get them to look at the slow speeds issue?0
