    Hi Miss C

No practical stuff to add....but...stay strong. It all seems carp at the moment...but it WILL work itself out. Just have courage, tenacity and strength...and keep posting so we can help.

If you are having trouble sleeping..go to GP and get something...no need to follow prescription..just take a quarter of a tablet. It WILL make a difference...and a couple of good night sleep can turn the world around I promise you.

    Ref: lists....lists are good...keep going...it's a real tonic.

And before you even get to thinking that far...the answer is NO..........this "no sleep lists/anxiety/lack of concentration/short term memory loss etc etc etc" is all perfectly normal!!!

Stay strong hon...we are all here for you.

    Hugs

cant face much today sorry, just wanna crawl away and hide right now :S
got this email from HO today:

I have left a message on your mobile phone to advise you of the following, but felt it necessary to put this in writing via email to you as well.

Please provide the following information for assessment for the interview noted above.

please provide birth certificate or passports for yourselves, and birth certificates for the children.

Please provide bank statements for the past 3 months indicating Child Benefit payments.

Please provide Working Families Tax Credit information if you are claiming this benefit.

Please provide current up to date wage slips for you both for the last 3 months.

This information has been requested before but to date not provided, and it is vital we make an assessment of your financial needs.

When the Bailiff's order is served we will provide emergency accommodation 3 days before the end of the time given, and you will need to make a housing benefit claim for this accommodation as you will be required to pay towards the cost.

I will arrange for your furniture to be stored, and you will have to meet the cost of this storage to be arranged via an agreement.

It is vital at this stage you co-operate in providing all requested documentation or you could face full charges for your emergency accommodation.

I look forward to our meeting on Friday.

    Yours sincerely

    Tina Chave Housing Advice Officer

which is ok. bit annoyed as dont recall her wanting this information previously, but she may have asked and i mistook it for her making sure i brought it into housing benefit.
so ive gotta chase my tail into sorting this stuff out.
why do i find it so infuriating that all my OH can say is "it'll be ok"?
    it doesnt feel ok!
was tempted to go to doctor. cant face it right now. dont see the point. it wont help (been on anti deppressants before, didnt help and ended up takin an overdose of them) and i get the feeling that even if i did the council would just think im making it all up to "help our cause"
sorry bout the "feeling sorry for myself" phase im in today. im really really worried about the meeting on friday. get the distinct impression that HO REALLY REALLY does not like me at all.
gotta go now and do tea, but thanks for the support etc you've all given me xxx

    Hi Miss Cat,

I don't think the Ho doesn't like you she just has a really sh*tty job to do. Re: what she asked for, I had to provide the same and yes, it is a slog to get it sorted particularly when you are feeling so down, but you will feel so much better when you can give her all the info she needs.

I really don't think that anti depressants are the answer, like me your situation is to do with circumstances and when each one is sorted it will be a 'lift' for you and there is light at the end of this awful tunnel.

I just wish I could do more for you, I am happy to answer any questions you may have but my mind isn't up to raking up my past voluntarily at the moment.

Take care and believe me it will get better xx

Perhaps Anti depressants are not the answer at the moment. BUT you do need to make an appt to see your GP to get help with your depression. It could take the form of a talking therapy which will in the long term help you.

Dont be ashamed or afraid to ask and need help it would be mighty unusual if you didnt feel like this with all you are going thru at the moment.

Dont bottle up those feelings just come here and write and vent sometimes just writing it down helps.

As MOT says it matters not a jot what the housing officer thinks of you she is probably like this to EVERYONE she has to deal with, it is after all a !!!! job:D It is a slog to find all the info she has asked for but ask OH for help in gathering it.

BTW its a Man thing to say "It will all be ok" its there way of dealing with things frustrating though it is.

As a for instance today I went to stand up and jarred my back complety that has rendered me unable to stand and even to sneeze hurts. OH came hom after my dramatic help me phone call and said.............................. Ok ok dont panic it will be ok just rest and stop having a panic:eek: So as its all going to be ok I have retired to bed with laptop and am awaiting my evening meal:T

    )))))))))))))))))))HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
make that appt and dont forget to come and vent as much as you want. Everyone here understands and we have all had some sort of hill to climb.
Just remember the Hill might be different but EVERYONE climbs it eventually.
Things will get better believe me.

    Hi Miss Cat

This will have to be quick tonight as girlie guest arriving for dinner in 15 mins and I haven't even put the food on as I've been waiting for the boiler engineer to turn up since 1pm today (nuff said!!) ..but should have time tomorrow and will try to PM you.

It's important you get enought sleep ATM. Adrenaline/stress etc at this level is not good...and you need to boost your energy levels because this type of situation really DOES sap your energy. Antidepressants are not why you should see your GP...a quarter of a tablet of sleeping pill WILL help....and it is important to get your current stress levels on record in case you need to refer to them in the future.

Know the "duvet" feeling..I'be been snuggling for the last two weeks....all I can say is...even if you don;t feel like coming on here each day..at least try and maintain some type of contact with the support on here...even if it's only twice a week and by PM. It really does help...

Sorry can't be more constructive today but had to post to let you know I am thinking of you and sending you big hugs. You are NOT alone.

    Much love

    Hi Sweetie,

been waiting for you to come back and let us know what happened. All of what is there is perfectly normal so please, please do not worry. All of what you have had to do so did we but make sure you get it done so that they can see how desperate you are. I know it is a pain BUT they will help you, it might also be worth taking a copy of your Child Benefit award notification because I had to include this (do it just in case).

I did feel stressed but this is because I've been dealing with it for months now, however, this has crept up on you and you have suddenly realised you have to move etc... and you have hd to deal with all of these emotins at the same time. In a bizarre way your OH has it right, we all have our bad days of course, but get the paperwork done and then chill untill you speak to her. Hey, they have offered to arrange storage for your furniture, we have not been offered that so that is one good think, that they are taking things seriously. I think we are going to be looking at being kicked out at the same sort of time as each other - you will have 4-6 weeks yet and can apply for a 'stay of execution' against the order form N244 (thanks penguin) from the county court, it costs £35 but it might give you a few more weeks (if you want them).

It will not happen overnight but start packing anyway, get rid of everything you do not want to put into storage or take with you, see if you can find yourself some cheaper storage facilities as well in the meantime. Get sorted, you have a few weeks yet but things will be OK and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Look, you will be out of that damp and crappy house very soon and ready to start all over again. Good luck sweetie, my thoughts are with you. x

Hi everyone, just a quick note to say....
we got our phone bill today and it was...erm...very very high
so we have decided to cancel it and thus lose the internet.
there are cheaper options we could go with, but with the whole..."not being here" in a matter of weeks, there seems to be very little point in doing that.
it does, however mean that i wont be around very much, but i will try to get in the library every couple of days and keep you all updated etc.
i will come on tomorrow and let u know how it goes with the HO.
i'd like to take this opportunity to say what a great help you have ALL been.
before i discovered this site i was very clueless:confused:
but now i'm a little more clued up, and that is down to everyone who has posted here and on blue monkey and MOT's threads.
so many many many thanks:A :grouphug: :kisses:
    will keep you updated
and good luck with your own situations too
    THANK YOU
    speak soon x
