I used cushion flooring, the non slip ones. Its been far better than tiles ever where, very easy to clean and hard wearingAlways on the hunt for a bargain0

We have the sticky-back floor tiles too - Again, absolutly no problems! No gaps to grout, the glue is extremely good quality (got ours from B+Q) and has stayed stuck since (2 and a half years now!) One thing I would mention is before you stick them down, for asthetic purposes lay them all on the kitchen, and in good light step back out and look at them - On some brands, the light reflects differently and all tiles need to placed facing the same direction for an even light-reflectionSealed Pot Challenge! With dogs vinyl is better than tiles - just get flat sheet vinyl and lay it so its glued down properly. Make sure thats the vinyl is at least 2mm thick, and it is well pressed down against its glue backing with no bubbles or airpockets. The glue under the vinyl should become one with it. A hard sound when you walk on it when set.It will feel like walking on hardwood.
Most Vinyl put down looks so plasticy and breaks because its not made rigid in this way IMO. Even Vinyl will get damaged if water, dust and dirt is left on it for people to walk on - like sandpaper it wears it down. .so says another ordinary mug fighting the 1% who own the political machine grinding them down from on high...

got my new flooring from wilkinsons plus cost £39.80 for 20 packs so I'll have enough of it in case of emergences like last year when I was flooded...the difference between the two from here and B & Q is on the back of the box the instructions I had to laugh when I read it but it also made sense...you use a rolling pin to flatten it down...lol:rotfl:...I suppose that would work
I just used a clothe to smooth over it to make sure there was no air under neith...worked fine for me...but I will try the rolling pin and see what the difference is....:D

We had a new kitchen put in a few months ago and also needed to do the floor in the kitchen and dining room.
We got our puppy a month ago and I am so glad I waited to do the floor. Once he is house trained we are going to put in Karndean. I spoke to a fitter a month ago and he suggested it. Seems it is used in shops etc.
It comes in different ranges, so the higher the range the more expensive.0
