Worried About Tiscalli

Hi there,
I have recently cancelled my account with Tiscalli due to the fact I am moving home.
However reading the negative posts have raised a few alarm bells.
We have 7 months on our account left but due to contact liability, we are fine with paying this, and decided to pay this off in one go. However I needed a debt card so called back a week later to settle this.
Only to be told,
1. You account has not been cancelled.
2. You are still on the same price plan (I reduced it to make the cancellation charge less)
I am moving out of the house at the end of the month therefore will not be recieving any bills. So if they continue to bill me I will be unaware and it will damage my credit score (As it is a shared bank account which will have no funds in it at the end of the month.)
What proof can I get from them to say "Your account has been cancelled" Will an e-mail suffice? And if I pay the remaining balance off my card does this suffice as proof as well?
Thanks

Send an email to Tiscali. Then backup this email and do not delete it.
I would then ring them to confirm reciept and ask for an email back stating that.
I know it sounds like overkill, but there have been a lot of problems with cancelled accounts on quite a few ISP's recently.0 -
I would send a letter to them by recorded mail as well, legally it would stand up better.0
