Freedom 2 Surf - New Packages

Freedom 2 Surf seem to have realigned all of their price plans. The cheapest now being £13.99 for 10gb and upto 8mb and £19.99 for unlimited and upto 16mb. I've just emailed them and apparantly there is still off peak access (1am-6am) that doesn't count towards the allowance. I'm on one of their old £19.99 packages and am wondering about changing to the cheaper package. Has anyone else signed up for any of the new tariffs?

I used to work for F2S's Sister Company Nildram (Who are owned by Pipex who are owned by Tiscali....). In fact I used to sit next to the F2S Support Team. Peak times are 00:00 till 08:00 and anything DL during this time WILL NOT count towards your monthly Fair Use Policy Allowance.
I would advise calling them and asking to speak to Retentions and asking for a cheaper package as you are paying more then new customers. Also ask for something extra as you have been paying more then new customers for a while. Retentions will sort it out for you.
On another note, if you have to speak to Tech Support ask for a transfer to either Jason, Brian or Antonio. All 3 are top class and REALLY know their stuff.0 -
Cheers, will try that! :beer:0

.... Well they offered me 3 months free, then 13.99 a month and unlimited downloads rather than 13.99 and a 10gb cap. Wasn't sure if I wanted the 12 months contract though, so at the moment I've just opted for 13.99 a month with no ties for now...0

So you got 3 months free then £13.99 per month with true unlimited?
Who did you speak to? Penny?0 -
They "offered" that package, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to opt for the 12 months tie in, BE/ o2 are activating at our exchange in June and I wanted to hold out for them I think? Spoke to Richard.0
