3 MOBILE CALLING FROM OZ

I have been told that to phone Blighty from Oz using my 3 Mobile will cost £4 (YES FOUR POUNDS!!!!!) per minute. Anyone got ideas how to get this down considerably?? that is without changing companies as I've only just signed up with them.

Buy a phonecard when you are in oz.
Much much cheaper.

And if you are a text head then get an Optus PAYG sim $30(12£) with 25cent texts (local or intl). May have a compatability ptoblem witha three phone unless it is unlocked.

Thanks for that, but its more for the other half to phone the mobile (keeping a check on!!!!) so no good really.
