B&B won't transfer old ISAs - help!

I am trying to transfer two old ISAs from Bradford and Bingley to an ICEsave ISA. I asked ICESAVE to do it all and subsequently received a letter from them saying that B&B won't answer their correspondence and could I get in touch with B&B.

I then wrote to B&B customer service asking why they won't transfer the ISAs and have had no reply.

Where do I go from here please?

You don't say how long you have waited for a response from B@B but I suggest phoning them.

Would be interested in the outcome as I am in the process of doing exactly the same

Just notice that there is a section in this forum specifically for transferring ISAs. A quick read down it shows that if you want to transfer to ICEsave from B&B you can forget about it. Writer does not say why so none the wiser. Reluctant to ring B&B as it will no doubt be a high cost phone line.

Try 0800 113333 it a free phone number. They should be able to put you through to the right section

Well I have transfered my B/B ISA to Icesave with no problem.

From the day I sent Icesave the request to the day B/B sent me conformation was only 11 days which I think is great from both sides.

Sent off the forms yesterday to transfer my partners B/B ISA too and hope she get's the same level of service.

By the way I have heard nothing about my Barclays transfer request. What a joke that company has become.

Yes you can transfer them, just pick an ISA provider which offers the best rate & allows transfers in.

You'll find a list (about half-way down the page) HERE.

I had a similar problem with Bradford and Bingley and also got the Icesave letter saying they received no response from B&B. I called B&B and they said to me they never received a request from IceSave.

Had a letter from B&B this morning to say they have now transferred my ISAs to Icesave so it looks as thought they do it eventually. Now all I need to hear is that Icesave have received the money ok....
