    :hello:hellooooooo just me popping in

Not quite finished my meal plan, getting there and hoping this will help me finish it. Kids are back at school next week :j:j:j DS1 back on packed lunches, DS2 on dinners so that probably means 2 different meals for them, have planned in advance and got sandwich stuff, potatoes in oven (to freeze) for baked spuds etc for DS2 so that's him sorted (busy week studying so need to be prepared) Out Thursday I think so that's not included.

Right, ok, lets see what I can come up with

    Friday - Pizzas!
Saturday - Chicken/Fish peas, sweetcorn and chips
Sunday - Dinner - possibly beef, sure I spotted some with roasties (DSs request) & veg
Monday - Tacos with salad and salsa (DS1 fish, DS2 baked spud)
    Tuesday - Burgers & wedges (salad/beans)
Wednesday - Italian chicken and pasta
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Not much to plan, because I'm off on a biz trip Monday till Friday. OH will have to dig into the freezer for leftover meals. Until then it was/will be:

    Thursday - HM pizza
Friday - neigbours invited us for couscous
    Saturday - potato/carrot bake
    Sunday - curried tuna quiche

I should really be already thinking of the next plan for when I come back on Friday, I know I will be shattered!

How do you make your veal stew please? I have some stewing veal in the freezer but haven't yet come across a recipe that is much different to a basic beef stew.

OK, going to give this another try - the more places I have it written down, the more likely I am to stick to it! (or that's the theory anyway)...

    Fri: mushroom curry, daal, chapattis
    Sat: brunch: kedgeree (reduced kippers)
dinner - quorn roast, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, gravy
Sun: lunch: leftover quorn, mash, broccoli, carrots
    dinner: pasta puttanesca, olive ciabatta
Mon: veg sausage, beans, egg and wedges
Tue: Out, OH will have noodles or fry-up
    Wed: HM pizza
Thu: quorn fillets in spare rib sauce (experiment), rice and stir fry veg

well, we're on target so far - just have to hold on until Friday, £5 left in purse for milk or spread (running low on both).
