a while ago, someone (dont remember who now) mentioned that Boots pharmacy used to sell 'facial' rose water.

i saw the boots 'rose water' bottles today. they are with all the other skincare stuff. They are in a bottle that says "Boots Rose Something Something" on them. The complete range include cleansing lotion and moisturizer as well.

Can someone please elt me know if they are any good? I'm stocking up on facial skincare at the moment...seeing that its 342. If you can let me know by tomorrow noon, it will be great.

Botanics Organic Rosewater toner £3.99 is on 3 for 2, theres an acm for 1/2 price botanics facial skincare and a 100pts pc voucher for botanics organic range. Could combine 1 of those with 2 x lip protecors from expert and expert mag voucher plus gwp...would kind of be...

    rosewater 1.99
    lip protectors x 2 £1.59
    gwp
    200pts and £3.58 spent

    if you have vouchers!

Hi thought this the best place to ask!!
Do you know if the Gorgeous bags have reached N.I yet? Been looking in a couple of local stores but the SA hadnt even heard of them? Heading into Belfast at the end of the week and was wondering if anybody seen them in the big store there!

    Thank you for any help!:T
  • I dont think they are botanics......they are in a plain bottle and SEL says 2.99

No they do the plain rosewater, your correct, but I thought the botanics rosewater, 2 x lip protectors, gwp for £3.98 and 200pts may have been better than 3 x boots rosewater for £5.98 on 3 for 2. Sorry to confuse

BTW Poole has the gorgeous bags, did post b4 but think it must've been missed ;)
  • oohh....ok. :):)

you're right! its a fab deal. shall go for that option then. :)

i now have a stack of toiletries in my office:o as my house is a bit 'crowded' at the moment. :p Oh keeps asking whether i have a premonition of the next world war, as i am stocking up on everything like his gran used to. :o

just checked my statements, and i spent 120++ in boots in the last 5 weeks.   an average of 30 per week...during the period when i went 'cold turkey' on boots, i spent 7 pounds in 2 months....

not very money saving, but i can't help ut crave for that adrenalin rush when i get a good 'bargain' in boots.

That could have been me, I used to buy Glycerin and Rosewater from Boots pharmacy years ago. It's possible that they would still be able to make it up for you, could be much cheaper than buying it in the cosmetic range. The most expensive part then was the bottle but if you returned it later they would refill for just the cost ofthe ingredients. If you do it this way then be sure to keep it in the fridge as there are no preservatives added.
As to whether it's any good, yes I would say it was, it's just a mild astringent which restores your skins pH, the branded versions often contain isopropyl (alcohol) as a preservative so can be a little harsher, possibly some colourings too.

off topic...ish...thread on grabbit says there is a juicer for £6.99 in store or online at llyods pharmacy, noticed there is a steamer same price etc...but

they have a savlon first aid kit with torch https://shop.lloydspharmacy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=458&storeId=40&productId=10566&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10012&top=&top_category=10011 at £3.99 which may be good for you who wanted boots first aid kit with acm voucher, but did not get pc one etc. Think torch kit is fab for any of you that go camping etc or for in a car. If you order online it is £3.95 postage

EDIT: Tixylix baby monitor for £7.99 too https://shop.lloydspharmacy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=458&storeId=40&productId=10552&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10002&top=&top_category=10001
