I had a go at the self scan tills at the boots in TC they were lots of fun i put through 4 GWPs in one shop so the SA are lieing when the say one per purchase on none per purchase in my case which was fun!!
You know what deborahmcgeachy? This is the last time I'll be banging on about people going through SS (or manned) tills with multiple gwps without a purchase, .but why should people be pleased for you?
There's been NO gwps to be had in Hull and the surrounding areas for at least a week, and that was for people that were buying the products. Maybe they were sending them all to the Trafford Centre?
And weren't you the one that pulled a fellow poster up for taking a voucher from a product because you didn't like it? No difference in my book whatsoever.
So forgive me if I can't be pleased for you.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Hi I am a newbie and haven't read everything yet, but wanted to tell you that yesterday in Boots I managed to get them to give me some pennies for a change! I got my 6th meal deal (freebie) and I chose the new Tropicana fizzy drink "Spirit" that has got some offer or other on it (I think it's discounted cos it's new) and because of its offer the receipt said "Saving 40p" - and they paid up! So I left Boots with my lunch and was 40p up... Happy days...0

I'll second that. I thought we had agreed that whatever shenannigans folk got up to in their own free time as consenting adults that it was contrary to the spirit of MSE, that Boots read this thread on a regular basis and that Martin could get into real trouble if folk started posting about how they had obtained items in a way that could be interpreted as...well, you get my drift.
Also because youngsters and the not quite totally clued up about the greyness of this method could try to copy it thinking it perfectly legitimate, and as we well know it's always the not so savvy that get caught.Val.0 -

But weren't we all raving about it when the MF GWP was going through free and that was the one how unfortunate in this case maybe knowledge isn't power but i cannot be blamed for your area not having GWPs!!!!
And just to put your mind at rest 2 of those GWPs were expert tins and the expert products were purchased as i quite like them and also the MF GWP was picked up with a lip gloss which i purchased aswell!!! I was merely pointing out the fact that they did go through together!!!
And if you remember that discussion ended with me making my peace!!!!:heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

got a boots time delay free product voucher in the Bristol Evening Post last Friday 18th April. It is valid for 6 items in time delay range up to 12.50 in value is the most expensive item available. It is valid till the 30th april and I got the mature skin restoring eye cream today worth 7.49 usually. Voucher is only valid boots broadmead but if anyone wants one you could buy a back copy of evening post from the evening post building on corner of old market these cost 37p and well worth it if you want the free time delay voucher. I have two more that I got from friends and will be going back later. You can only use it on mature skin age spot pen or anti blemish concentrate or wrinkle reducing night serum or intensive restoring treatment or line filling collagen booster or mature skin restoring eye cream. there may be a coupon in acm for time delay 100 points but don't know if it will go through with the offer.:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0
