Those of you considering NTL - beware!. We recently moved home, informed NTL only to be told that they could not provide us with a service(no one else who I have called seems to have this problem) despite the fact that the new house already had a broadband connection. (some guff about datastream). We are now in a situation where we are paying £18 a month which we cannot cancel for a service we don't get as our contract runs out in January next year and if we were to cancel, we would have to pay an ADDITIONAL £100 cancellation fee.
Those of you thinking of getting Broadband, ask NTL if they provide the service in the telephone exchange area you are moving to OR better still, give them a wide berth and use another provider.
