I Have A Nokia 6230 And I Have A Security Code On It So You Can Not Unlock (by Pressing Menu Then *) Without Putting In My Security Code!!!
I Have Lost The Code!!
Is There Anything I Can Do To Get My Phone Up And Running Again?

Try 12345 or 0000 or 1234, Or take it to a Mobile shop to get unlocked.

Nah fraid not dude.

if it's anything like the siemens sx1 you'll have to contact nokia for an unblock code based on your imei number. after a few mistakes it blocks the phone.

you might have to fax them the side of the box, receipt, contract bill if contract, and some other id etc

they give you a big string of numbers and hash star etc to type in and this fixes it.

maybe there are tools you can download that give you the same thing

any decent unlocking shop should be able to reset it for you
a nokia sevice center can also do it - think they charge £10 + vat

that would make a phones 'security' code a bit redundant really wouldn't it, think about it

Not sure if it works on newer nokia phones, but I used to use logomanager to get the security codes from older nokia phones...needed to be connected to the computer by cable or infrared. Not used logomanager for a while now so no idea if Mike Bradley has done updates for bluetooth/usb connection

that software only works on old DCT3 phones...this is a dct4

Nokia 6310i is dct4 and it reads that phone

The same thing happened to a handset I bought on sunday, but i'm lucky enough to have a twister flasher, so setting up a factor reset only took a min :j
