Well said hun.;) :j
.
I totally:D agree with you, the courts are enough to make some people feel ill and more stressed, as if we have not gone through enough stress already of the money we have all been deprived of.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi all
I took out a loan for £5000 about 4 years ago and was charged 9.2% apr over 3 years.
The total paid inc PPI was £6444. I wrote in to claim back my PPI and my complaint was accepted and they said that they are prepared to put me back in the position I would have been in had I not taken out the insurance.
I know when I was half way through my third year and only had just over a £1000 to pay off, something happened and I missed one payment. They called me and offered to take a settlement of about £400. As my parents had just sold their house they offered to pay it off.
I was told that I was looking in the region of £1000 refund but today received a cheque for a mere £200????!!!!!
Its not my problem that they let me off that money but I still want a refund of PPI that I paid! Even if they dont charge me PPi on the £600 that they let me off.
Please help Im soooo confused.0 -

Thanks for confirming this hun, was the loan arranged by the Sainsbury's bank itself ?;)
I can then check the register for this as your product was taken 4 years ago.;)
Okay this is the information I have found on Royal bank of Scotland:
If you still have your paperwork, check to make sure this reg number is matching to that one hun, if it is then I would write to them to request a refund in a complaint letter or threaten them with the Financial Ombudsman service, because going by the FSA register they were regulated in 2001.
