    Hi Marshallka

Think in principle that sound fine but if you are not here who puts it on I know Di is on here lots. Just cause your light is on you may be occupied elsewhere on the site.

Also sometimes people have different variations of how they need help. Not trying to put spanner in works. Think it is a good idea and wonder if the wonderful MSE team could somehow work it so that it comes up on the top of every new page:confused: What do you think:D
No silly billy maxdp, copy and paste and keep in favs or something and get in there when someone asks. I put it for us all. I just keep typing away and then when I get there its already been answered half a dozen times. If we had one response to cover all then we don't all respond with the same. Just time saving really and I get to spend more time with my family.

I cannot pass these people by. I see a post and just have to repond.

Basically me and Di always answer the same. I was only joking maxie.

Basically every compaint needs the post I made in it for new claims and yes more needs answering of course but the complaint process is always the same.

Maybe you could try putting this complaint to the FOS now. Maybe you had a good reason why you had not got this into them before this time if you know what i mean. Incidently, how long over the 6 months is it...??

It's from February, so its two months over the six month time allowance ...

Were you aware of this being a single premium and that interest would be added for the full term of the loan and were you given the choice of the PPI??

Thank you so much for your great advice on this, to be honest I didn't realise it was a single premium or that it didn't cover the whole term of the loan (only the first 5 years) and no, no-one ever said that interest would be applied over the whole term of the loan, they just told me that I would get my premiums back at the end of 5 years so it sounded like a good deal, I guess you could argue that it does state all this on the CCA, but by then we were so desperate to get the loan we just signed it without paying the attention we should have.

I do want to go down the misselling route rather than arguing over the rebate they gave us, I'll put the template letter together later and ask for my premiums back plus the 8% statutory interest as you have advised

Doh:o Sorry was just thinking that people would just get all the same response:D
I do see what you are saying was just wondering how it would work. Think one of the thing about this site is that people usually get quick responses. I suppose also all the regulars have had different experiences with their claims. But then again if your response was pasted up others could then add the other bits and pieces.:rotfl:

Was you maybe ill or something... I think its worth contacting the FOS with your GOOD reasons why it has taken this long. Its not that long over and you could have posted it and it got returned etc, etc, etc....

    Good luck

    Snook
    Marshallka is right.

I think this has been done and dealt with before by others, its well worth a try when there is money involved.

    Give it a go.;)

You may have a very genuine reason of why you did not proceed to the FOS at that time, and now you are in the position of doing this.

    Good luck Snook.
