I quite agree I think he has been totally taken to the cleaners for this and they need to pay back big time. If you know what I mean:D Putting that aside I wonder how we can get FOS to consider this with some of these claims.:mad:0 -

Goodie......:D
Shall I find mine again later and add on here then to see if mine is also right ?
Mine was sold to me by "Endeavour" July 2004, paid off/settled Nov 2005,
Originally meant for 25 years/300 months then. can't remember what settlement rules they used now, think that was used by using rule of 78% but can't be certain, a bit different to the way nemo works their's out.
Will have to find it first though lol......:rolleyes:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

8968.00 (amount of ppi with interest) - 2185.95 (repayments against the PPI) = £6782.05 - the rebate i got of £91.64 = £6690.41(THIS IS THE AMOUNT THAT I WAS UNFAIR REBATED ON)
So if Firstplus work this on this pro rata basis then 78% of the amount they took from us at settlement for PPI that was in fact dead and buried is £5218.51 and then add on the statutory interest which would be 5218.51 + 2338.51 = a whopping £7556.51.
That is worked out on the pro rata thing as well allowing that they be able to keep 22% back for admin etc.
I hope and pray this is upheld now. I want back the £6690.41 plus interest really as I don't think they shoud keep anything back for admin etc. Does the FOS argue this for you if you win..if this is worked out correctly then on this £6690 plus the interest it works at £9689...:D
I wrote to Firstplus again with these figures so they know that I know what I am asking of them. I posted it on 4th October, 2008 and not had an acknowledgement of this letter. I sent it recorded too. I don't think they will respond as this complaint is now with the FOS and waiting for an adjudicator. I just wanted them to know that I know what the figures are and they cannot try to rip me off if I actually win this. If i don't win then I am going to the Prime Minister with this one lol.
You just do not realise how much they have ripped you off until you actually do the working of the figures.
No wonder we have found it difficult to get back on our feet what with these and the Co-op.0
