Skipton fixed ISA to end this Saturday

Have just been told by my local Skipton BS branch that the 6.26% fixed ISA will be withdrawn from offer this Saturday (19th April).

We called in to Skipton BS this morning with my OH's 2008 cash ISA allowance, and they also told us that the bond is ending on Saturday.
Really pleasant girl who dealt with opening the account in contrast to the staff at Nationwide, where we were transferring previous ISA's into a fixed rate ISA. There was one cashier with about eight people waiting for service and two desks. We had already filled in all the forms for transfer but the abrupt attendant said she couldn't do it this morning or all day today! She asked that we go back in again. As we live about 10 miles away we declined the offer.
We have several Nationwide accounts and were not impressed with service at their town centre office.0
