I think the town centre one changed to a sports direct but not entirely sure. Not sure about Spytty, don't think I'll be going that way today but if I do I'll post later.

Fort Dunlop in Birmingham is closing this weekend: on the radio this morning.
    Wolverhampton also closing.

70% off seems to be the maximum - some items only 10% off in store.

LLanelli store is changing to Sports something and there's currently 50% off JJb stock only.

    Trostre store is staying though.

Hi, I went to Newport today (high st branch), the store may have changed names, but there is a sale up to 70% off, got myself some well needed new trainers and a swimming costume. They have loads of stock and a lot of it is at 70%, lots of stuff for children and adults, also a lot of Welsh rugby kit at 50% off.

They are advertising it as a closing down sale, but when i asked the sales man when they were closing he said they were not closing, but re-branding.

Anyway, definately some good bargins to be found.

Also, thanks to the op for bringin the sale to our attention.

I'm confused - the (small) one in Camberley does not seem to be closing, but a Sports Direct has opened up in the nearly built new arcade, but in Farnborough, Hants (about 4 miles away) a large JJB is closing down and appears to be turning into a Sports Direct!

  • The one in Stockport (Merseyway) is closed already.

None of the ones around Lincoln are closing according to our local paper. My luck!
