unlock motorola phones for free?

I cant seem to find any sites offering free guides to unlocking motorola phones, theres loads for Nokia and i dont want to have to pay loads for it!

    motos cant be done by free code like nokias
    need to be done by unlocking clip or a few people can do them by remote code for a price

    there is some software thats meant to unlock the V220 and a few others but you need to buy a cable to do it, so it makes it just as cheap to pay someone else to do it for you

    I unlocked my V220 safely and easily using the software available discussed on this website http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/132

    I used the mini usb cable that I have with my PDA/digital camera so didn't have to buy one. Hope that helps.
