Want to move to Virgin but have £20 left on Vodafone but phone is knackerd.

Anything I can do?

My original razr died, I borrowed a friends phone - but it is knackered and I can't hear what the other person is saying. I've still got £20 credit left - but don't want to buy a new vodafone phone when I want to ultimatley move to Virgin liberty sim.

Can I buy a vodafone phone - use up the credit - get a pac code and move to virgin and then get the phone unlocked from vodafone onto virgin?

Any phones easier or harder to unlock from Vodafone to either go for or avoid?

    Probably best to buy an out of fashion sim free mobile from Ebay for a few quid and then resell or throw away once you've finished with it.
