bt users of bt total broadband option 3 what's the cheapest renewal price you've been offerred?
we are out of contract and currently pay 24.99 a month for broadband. we have been sent an email offerring 22.99 a month for 12 month contract. just wondering if anyone got any better offers by phoning up or threatening to cancel?
unfortunately we are out in the sticks and cannot get any of these 'free' offers so i think we need to stick with bt?

When i asked for my MAC they offered £19.99 for option 3 but remember accepting will tie you in for another 12 months.
I chose Virgin Media Broadband Bundle Two (this was an unbeatable price nothing came close) price £10.00 per month but i certainly would not recommend it!!!0 -
For an 18 month contract you can get 6 months free and a BT Vision box and possibly a hub and hub phone.
Push and push but remember to be nice. And if you don't get it first time ring back and you'll get a different person.0 -

But the question was "bt users of bt total broadband option 3 what's the cheapest renewal price you've been offerred?" Not how much junk you can get out of them! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

It's annoying that the offer depends on who answers your call, isn't it?
I hate haggling and would rather they published a price and stuck to it.
BT tried to tell me this morning that the cost of Option 3 broadband was £32.99 and they would give me a discount to make it £24.99..."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
