HELP ** with Virgin Digital tv package

Hello,

I am new to the forum but i am always reading them, and I need help!!

I am currently paying £25.50 for phone and Broadband with Virgin, no TV package, which im trying to negotiate.

I have just spent 3 hours trying to get a deal out of Virgin!

I rang Tiscali and originally spoke to a lady who gave me tv,broadband and phone for £15.99 for 3 months then £19.99 for next 9 months, explained I was on Virgin(ntl) and she said thats fine we can do the tv package in your area.

Rang Virgin to see what they could do and they were only prepared to go to £24 a month for same deal, even after threatening to leave, saying i have been happy with their service but im obviously saving alot by moving.Tough!!

Rang Tiscali back and spoke to same woman, who now said sorry we cant do tv for a month, it will be £23.23 for phone and broadband blah blah!

So rang back Virgin who can still do my £24 deal but goes up to £27 in June.

Im at a point where i dont know what to do, I have been pleasant but firm with all providers concerned (even tried Sky but no better off) and i now have a headache!

Any moneysavers help or advice would be grateful.

If Virgin are going to do you TV for less than you are paying currently I'd stick with them. No idea what sort of TV you get for that, but I suppose you could always get a freeview box and try and get the phone and BB for less.
Sky would need a working BT phone line and I would have thought that Tiscali would need the same, but I may be wrong.

I pay Virgin £22 a month and I get 2mb broadband, the Large TV package and also phone line with free weekend calls. This is coming to an end soon as its only for 12 months so I will threaten to leave AGAIN and hoepfull get good deal
