Just a quick thought for you. Make sure you save the ebay picture and item number to your computer, as after a few months the ebay item is lost from the ebay website. I don't know when you are ordering your dress, but I would hate for you to not be able to access the picture.
Sorry if you already realised this, and good luck with planning!
Yes, I've saved the pic, may need to do it again tho as it's tiny!!!0 -
This is the dress that I want!!

She's already told me that as long as I keep a copy of the pic and the item number, there should be no problems!
Great choice - thats the one i was going to have until I went and tried it on in the shop and it didn't suit me.
The satin reflected the light off my tummy and it was all that I could see in the mirror :rotfl:(my friends thought it was gorgeous though) I've gone for an organza skirt now as it is more flattering to my (probably imaginary) lumps.
You'll be able to have it made to your length as having it altered would ruin it with that gorgeous embroidery on the bottom. The one I tried on they would have ordered in a petite length and I would then have had to have it altered which put me right off.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

That's what I thought - I'm only 5'3, and so awkardly shaped (top half about 2 sizes smaller than bottom half) that even when skinny, I can very rarely get a dress that fits perfectly!!0 -

Same as me even with shoes and a hoop it was about 2 inches too long. I'm the other way round so if I get a top half that fits the hips just hang.
When you send Landy your measurements tell her what sort of petticoat you are planning on and she will add a bit to the length to allow for it. I haven't tried mine on since I got my hoop but it looks like it will the right length but I can always adjust the width of the hoop or have it taken up a little - I ordered it a bit longer just in case

Is Landy the lady from Asapbay then (never noticed her name on her email)?? I was thinking of asking her for suggestions as I don't have a clue about that sort of thing!!!0

She is indeed.
I know she has helped a couple of other people with petticoats and seem to remember someone posted prices she quoted.
I told her what the diameter of my proposed hoop was going to be and she added a bit. (since bought a different one but having try on on Tuesday so fingers crossed)Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

We met a lovely lady last night, who came over to our flat with a mountain of albums and samples for us to look through.
Piccies were much better than the website ones (due to web being lower res or something), so we've decided to go with her.
It's £600 for about 3 hours (30-60 mins before ceremony, ceremony, up to first dance - not that we're having first dance!) plus copyright pics on a disc for us to do what we want with!
This is much better than the photographer my sis used, they were gonna charge £995 for pretty much the same package!
Incidently, I had a PM from a user called Geoff Wilkins asking if I'd found a photographer, giving his rates/email/web address. Wasn't too sure if this guy was just a chancer touting for business or not (Geoff, if you're not, then please forgive me, I don't mean to cause any offence - I've been getting lots of unsolicited calls/emails lately).0 -
As one of my bridesmaids is my 10 year old (well, she will be when we get married) soon to be step-daughter, I wasn't sure if the other BM dress was too grown up, so I've found these ones too (I thought they'd go well with the grown up one)

I prefer the first one (which also comes in lots of other colours - seen a lovely deep red one!), but I'm gonna give her the choice when she stays with us on Saturday!0 -
These are great. I bought my bridesmaid dresses from this seller, would definately recommend them. The dresses arrived from Canada about 4 days after I paid! Ours are blue but this style. Fantastic quality and our 14yo bridesmaid lookks like an angel in hers, she said she will be wearing it to her prom afterwards too!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
