Am i right in thinking one of the reasons RBS gave for not following the BoE rate drops over 2008 was that they followed the LIBOR rate?.
Now they have been caught artificially manipulating the rate is there any more ground for complaint?

LIBOR fixing relates more to commercial transactions and as far as I'm aware, One Account is run on a standard variable rate and has no direct LIBOR linking.
Either way, LIBOR rigging is said to have reduced the rate artificially, so you would have benefited, not lost out.I am a mortgage broker.
