I'll be honest here. You are going to struggle to sell your car quickly for anything like a reasonable ammount. If you are really desperate to get rid of it you could put it through the market but you won't get much for it not at 7 years old. You could try the yellow paper but there is not much money about at the moment.

I would batten down the hatches and try and keep it if I was you.

Re working. If you have a friend with similar age children in a similar predicament then offer to share childcare so you can both get p-time jobs.

There is someone at the house looking at the car now! he his from a garage so will have to wait and see.

Thanks for the idea poppy, one of my close friends works from home doing accounts and the others have part time jobs and their family look after the children , this is not an option for me.
