Well done Louise and Bunny on getting through your interviews!

I'm glad mine is over too. I think it went well, and I didn't embarass myself, but you can never really tell, can you. Will find out by the end of the week. But, for now, am just enjoying the feeling of it all being over.

I'm taking it as a good sign that we all had interviews on the same day! :D

I can hear a glass of wine with my name on it!

Tallie - that's amazing! Did you need permission from the uni to do the OU course? One of their advisor chaps said something to me about it because it's two institutions

  • Nah, not at all...well the Degree people didnt know about my masters. work has no idea! Well some of the inspecters do, coz one gave me a ref to get on it. but i did mention a couple weeks ago to my tutor on degree, and she said hey its not really that bad, i thinks a good idea your finishing them and then will pick up again thought. Coz see im getting grades in the 70s for the degree so its ok, i think if i was doing really bad they would have something to say!!

When you guys find about your interviews do let us know, i hope you get them. It took me a year to get my job and i was so skint, but it was worth the wait.

I just got a call from the agency that placed me with my last (horrible) job that I walked out of and had an honest chat with the owner about the evil git that I worked for...anyway-the upshot of it is that she is putting me forward for a job at a radio station selling airtime-mon-fri £20k basic, car allownacce etc. More along my line, fingers crossed!!!!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
