  • Afternoon everyone, well ive not got any study done today at all, im still washing and pottering about! got to dry some more in an hour when its done, then sort out everything, iron shirts for work.....but i am sorting out the tiny bits maps, photos etc to put into to my project....(distance learning MA student, and part time BSc student) complicated with the amount of studying i do!......do these bits count as study?

Hey has anyone noticed the OU prices are going up..about 50 pounds per module!!! Will have to wait a while before i do my next after this one!

Well my only spend today is the laundretter,,,bout 2.60 so far another 2.00 it will be i think. But thats all washing done for 2 weeks then.

Using up all the leftovers tho my sis has realised nothing for dinner and she wont buy none so piggybacking my stuff!!

    So thats my day!!!

Louise it sounds so great your interview went well, i really hope you get it. Is it for a teacher or assistant post? Hey if anyone is stryggling for work, try a control room like where i work, good wages, hours and tones overtime. Its the best job, esp if you can get it in London.

Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
  • Oh yeah, and more!! well you see i started on my MA with UWE Bristol, but thats been such a poor course i started another with the OU to see which was best....as it turns out i dont really like either of them, so i am finishing off the 2 modules and i will then give it a year or so to find a place doing a decent course i like........at the same time as this, about 2 months in work said i looked bored and this opportunity was avaliable to do a part time BSc in policing they would pay the lot. So i thought, this is too good to miss (i have my first degree already) they will pay all fees, this is just brill. It will at least keep me busy with my plan to stop spending and going shopping coz im bored. so i applied got a place and actually really loving it. Thing is, im doing this and working full time shift work. So you can imagine why im so tired and get fed up sometimes like yest! In september thougu it will all be much better coz ill just be doing the last 2 years of the degree.

So thats it!! Hope that explains guys, sorry i tend to write a lot, i think its habit form studying! lol

But my tips i have got with all this are......use work photocopier, and print things from work....saved me so much on ink and paper!
Pens - barclays have free wicked pens, they write so nice! I always pick up a few now when i pay the credit card bill
If there is any paper pads at work use them - though our work has rubbish stationary!!

    Tallie -

oh yes, and total spend today 5.00 dryer - coz i had tons of washing today, 2-3 weeks worth!!
