Good Morning Lovely people:hello:
I am up early this morning to prepare myself for my job interview today. I feel slightly nervous but I am not running to the toilet every five minutes which is a good sign:rotfl:
I am just about to have a bath to relax and do my last bits of preperation before heading off. Thankyou for your kind help yesterday on the interview advice (and the life advice, you know who you are) so sending you all :kisses3: for all being such :A .
Without you lot I would be sitting hear worrying on my own but now I feel as though I have the whole of DFW behind me wishing me well.
Send me ~~~GOOD VIBES~~~ at 11.00am everyone:D

But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Good luck for the job interview, Louise!
today I am having a lazy couple of hours before heading into the city for some chores and lunch with an ex-colleague, then college this evening.
OH is signed off work for 8 weeks after an op last week and is already driving me potty!!! Keeps looking at MSE over my shoulder :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. All the best for your interview Louise! Hope it goes brilliantly.
I have to go to Birmingham today for work - overnight stay which
I hate. But at least I should be able to claim any spends back
and will get dinner! So I guess it is money saving!0 -

Wel I to am having a lazy hour before starting work, it is all sat here on the bed besides me waiting to go, while i am languishing with a cuppa of tea, a horrible bleurghy blackcurrant yogurt (the only good thing to do with a blackcurrant is ribena!!) which was the only one in the fridge. then will go and take DP's rug off and feed him, do some admin then have a few appointments this afternoon which is good. Hypno - hope your husband doesn't drive you insane whilst he's off. (is it naughty to say that a sick note is one doctor's opinion as to the amount of time off a person will need to recuperate and it could take more or LESS time:D)
Got loads to do today so going to get on with it (well for an hour at least), hope it's a good one for us all!

Although I know exactly how you feels as I have an interview today too. EeeeekAm feeling a bit sick with nerves, but have done my prep and am hoping that once I get in there I will be the very definition of calm, cool and confident :rotfl:
So if all you lovely people can transfer any of the good luck vibes you've got left to me at 12.45, that would be great!
So very best of luck Louise - perhaps we can compare notes over a celebratory glass of wine this evening!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 5500 -
Cat, I am sure he will drive himself crazy being at home too. He will almost def go back before 8 weeks.
I have 3 weeks off before I start my new job, and he is almost certain to be at home for the entire 3 weeks.
And there was me hoping for 3 weeks of quality time, just me, MSE and Daytime telly crap!!
To be fair, he is not too bad.........I was expecting him to be a lot more grumpy than he is, so that is a good sign of a quick recovery. His stitches come out on Friday, so maybe then he can start physio and getting back to "normal" if ever there was such a thing!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
