Wedding dress advice

I got a fabby Pearce Il Fionda long oyster satin fishtail dress with beading on and loveley criss cross back from Debenhams for £140 - due to MSE codes I got 20% off.
Ours is a civil ceremony and I just can't do the big white frock thing at 35, never mind pay a fortune to wear a dress just the once0 -
Thank you all so much for the feedback and advice on the dress. I was in Debenhams today and they didn't have much and coast was tiny. I'm going to go to a bigger one this weekend.
I'm also going to check out the ebay dress posts, seems that lots of folk have great things to say about the dresses so I'll definitely take it further. Thanks for your help. Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:Member no. 920 - Proud to be dealing with our debts0 -
Didn't think of coast at all - thanks for that. Did you go for white or a colour?
I got mine from here: http://www.candyanthony.com/index.htm
It was way spendy and a very pale silver with dark green sash. It was couture as we got married in Vegas with no guests and the wedding cost 199 dollars. LOL. To be honest I think a dress from coast would have been just as good. don't let hubby know that tho.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Save me from spending...

They are gorgeous, and having something that was made especially for me was special. But that was before I came on here - no way I'd do that now. Would probably be on here asking how to construct something from kitchen roll, white bin liners and an old net curtain...:rotfl:

You've seen my Blue Peter dress then? I added detail with lolly sticks and sticky backed plastic :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

And I thought I was the only one.... :PA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Maybe that should be the next challenge - I'd need the blue peter badge to keep it all together! Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:Member no. 920 - Proud to be dealing with our debts0

I had two of those as a child... I used to send crap into them all the time, I think they sent me the badges (1 white, 1 green) in the hope I'd go away... Poor deluded Lewis Bronze, it just made me more eager....
Still have the white one... Would of flogged it on eBay but they got wise and stopped it before I got chance... Never been good at jumping on bandwagons...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
