New Hsbc E-isa

I applied to open an e-isa on the HSBC website last Tuesday morning. On the declaration which I have printed it states that I will be able to view the account online within 3 working days. It is now the end of Monday - day 4 and I still can't see it.

Has anyone else had theirs opened? Also the £1 initial deposit hasn't left my account yet.

Are you already with HSBC and registered to run your accounts online? I am and they are usually very quick in getting new accounts up on screen.

However if this is your first account with HSBC i would imagine it will take a bit longer.I would go into your nearest bank,i have the best of both worlds, run all my accounts with them online but any queries i work opposite the local branch!!

Mine appeared 5 days. I rang HSBC and they said the ISAs take 5 working days to get up and running. Lets hope that you get to see yours today (Tuesday)

0845 603 0246 is their Online Internet Application number if you want speak to them.

    Thanks

Checked this morning and it was there. So took 5 working days. I didn't realise though that I had given them my First Direct Current account number to take the initial deposit from instead of my HSBC one. They haven't queried this so i assume that if customers hold FD current accounts they still get accepted!
