Can you open up IE (I'm presuming you are using IE6?) and:
Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Internet (Picture of globe) > Custom Level
Scroll down and check that File Download is enabled.0 -
guys, just to update you all and thank you for your help.
I uninstalled service pack 2 and reinstalled IE6 but this still had no effect, so after writing down all my passwords i reinstalled windows, extreme i know, but it has finally solved the prob, again, thankyou all for your time and effort
