I know what you mean about blinds Pigpen - we bought four for the kitchen windows *urgently* before Christmas, they are still waiting to be fitted. I had to go and buy them as the curtains hang over the range oven. He still hasn't put them up, and I have to tie the curtains in a knot to use the hob. I could put them up I suppose, but why keep a dog and bark myself?

Fingers crossed on the e-bay stuff for you.

A small rant here so avert your gaze if you're not into rants.

    Ok, first we had Casualty
    Then we had Holby City
Then we had something along the lines of Holby Blue (coppers bringing people into Casualty at Holby City for want of a better name)
I've just flicked channels and now all the BBC can seem to think about producing is 1907 Casualty!!!!!!

I know hospital dramas seem to be good for the ratings but HEY - enough is Enough!

    Rant off..

I put mine up.. I did the first 2 straight away but just haven't found the time (or inclination) to do the last one.. my mother said she'd put it up anyway.. but it wouldn't be useable because it would only pull down as far as the cooker hood.. she said ' oh yeah'... lol

I need to ring her actually.

vivw - Thank you for the link on your blog -I want this! http://www.clothkits.co.uk/?page_id=71&category=15&product_id=33
now I just need to find a suitable 1 yo girl as a recipient.

How fortunate - I have a gorgeous little girl who just happens to be 1.:rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm in again. That is if that same gorgeous little girl stops being sick and her temperature goes down. (and if I'm not poorly too - feel headachy, neckache and swollen glands).

Update on ebay - 2 out of 3 sold - auctions finish at 10.30pm so we'll see how much I make. Just waiting for the auctions to finish and I am straight to bed.
  • I am working on my weekly list. will post it this week.

honest I will, mainly cos I am afraid what Pigpen will do if I don't!
    back soon.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

since posting on the other thread, i have:
    • sorted out DS's mattress so it can go back on his cot
    • scanned and put away all the shopping done today
    • started packing 2 x bags for the hospital and 1x bag for DS to stay out overnight
    • put away things dumped earlier on our bed when i unpacked the bag from last night
    • emptied 1x big airer
    • refilled with 1 load of DS washing from earlier
    • DH has washed up and put things up on top of the wardrobes for me
    • sorted out rental DVD to post tomorrow.
    • got Ds's clothes ready for tomorrow
    • DH put DS's car seat back in my car
So not doing too bad. Just need to add some baby clothes to the bags, plus daft stuff like hairbrush, reading book that will depend on when exactly it happens. Think i will make a last-minute list for things i must grab before leaving the house.

Tracey :j nice to see you back

hex you are sounding a lot brighter. Are you fully recovered yet?

viv :rotfl: nice try, you must have known pigpen would whip you with that towel.

Right, going to try and get some bits done tomorrow. Whatever doesn't happen i am not too bothered about as long as i finish off the hospital bags and get DS to nursery. Not being a shirker, but i am ready for a break from him after 3 days of running around (2 days ill, one day running loose at the wedding) and i want to spend some time on my rugkit.

Monday 14th April: No: of items flung/shredded today = 2
    No of items ironed =
