HELP ...please could somebody put me straight, does using the BBCi to watch a programme use your broadband allowance or when you download a programme. does this make sense, I hope I have asked this question using the correct terms

yes, it uses some of your download allowance if you do it alot I would upgrade to a 40gb limitEx forum ambassador

Anything you do via your internet connection will impact your usage. If you are using a piece of software in the pc to download or view/ listen to content from a website then you are most definately using part of your download allowance.0

apparently, according to el reg, 1 hour a day = 111,161GB/month no wonder the <cough> 'unlimited' isps are bricking it
