right then Evil_Pika ......... But it looks like walkers tryin 2 pull one over on us with all these figures multiplied etc.

the 5min results on the main walkers page has once again changed...... but for the better ?
  • Posting the direct links will just get them changing it again when too many people use them. How about just letting people who know what they're doing have the links via PMs and the rest of us can just click on their pages like http://nyx.netherworld.org.uk/ and http://www.wa-kers.h15.ru/cgi-bin/index.cgi
  • Good point, links removed ;)

Yes you will be charged - 10p once the vat is added (that's what I get charged anyway ) but if you have an 02 contract you can always send one text wait 24hrs and then check online to see what you got charged

Now that we havn't got any of those nice little converted charts to tell us the actualy number of entries (thanks to those of you who did them) could anyone tell me if the average number of entries are going up or down - ie are people getting bored of this and not entering or are more people having a go?
  • does anyone know if there is a higher chance of winning if you text rather than do it online? i have heard people say they have won from texting but not from doing it online. the only way i have been entering is online & i've entered loads & nothing :(

I'm wondering that by using the FireFox method, ie submit, back page, change code, submit. Then your entries fail, as the secutiy code is the same. It may leave your screen okay but Walkers may treat it as an invalid/un-secure code and return a 'Unlucky Reply'.

I'm still to work out my strategy.

i wouldn't worry about that since those pages are accessed each and every time you click on the respective time link on their page.
They must have seen people were sharing the links to access it directly and decided to be wa-kers and change it anyway.
They've also probably changed the data into day by day format because the file size of the eventual file would have been too big anyway (again they didn't seem to think anything through).

bs7 -> Nice one! I'll take a look at it, see if there's any link to the multiplier in there.

i had a quick play with the data - it seems all the entries for day1 add up to 261908. BUT if you add all the data for the entry data as it now stands it adds up to 100 each time.

so it looks like they are dividing the data on each day by the sum of that days data, multiplied by 100.

i might be wrong but don't think it's that smart - see my method (on page 24 of this thread) - i tried it with 48 codes - i received confirmation emails for about 36 of them. If it had been to do with the security code i'd have only received 1 since all the codes were the same

i think their system's too crap and just can't cope half the time.

the same goes for texting too - i've received 'already submitted' texts for numbers that i've just got off their npn site - and no text back from others.
