Oil smell from boiler

Can any one help?
I have a Worcester 15/19 combi-boiler, we have just filled the oil tank and now there is a strong smell of oil from the boiler. I have removed the cover over the oil burner(Electro oil inter B9) and there is oil around and under the oil pump. It seems to be coming from what looks like a sensor on top of the pump.
Any suggestions much appreciated.
