  • Huge Congratulations!! Clever you

Don't get a baby bath .... unless you need somewhere to keep your ironing!!!! Use an ordinary basin for the first few weeks - alot easier to manouvre

  • CONGRATULATIONS .......

Well done you what an exciting time.
I would say having my 2 with all the different equipment all I really needed was car seat a pushchair that lies flat and is suitable from birth (however some would say that a sling would do) and if you plan on expressing milk for OH to feed babs then a steriliser for the pump and bottle OK maybe not a necessity but I found mine a lifesaver for convenience.

As someone else said stock up on toiletries as and when they are on offer and you will be fine I just ran out and DS is 13mths lol

Ask all the Mums you know including your own what they foi=ound useful and what was a waste of money! I'm expecting too! Check with your local council to see if they will give you money towards reusable nappies- most give about £30- so worth a try. Cut up old towels/flanels/(new) j-cloths for reusable wipes.
    Good luck

thanks for all the congratulation messages! I have already managed to get a cot off my local freecycle group (i know its way too early to get things) but if it wasnt for freecycle we wouldnt be able to afford anything for baby.
just got to persuade hubby to go and collect it! Does anyone know if cots are all the same size for getting a new mattress?
