Unlocking mobile phone

I have just bought a Nokia 6300 and have been reading on the forum that you have to take it into a shop to get it unlocked. Well, tried and they said that it would cost £25 plus I would have to leave it with them for 3 days. Is this an unreasonable price? or would it be cheaper to get it unlocked by Tesco, does anyone know the price to get it unlocked by them?
Thanks
Thanks

most bb5 nokias need a testpoint unlock (i.e dismantling the phone), so will invalidate the warranty. getting the code from tesco would be the safer option.
please post in the mobiles board next time
